Property Information

Darwin Cottage offers you the opportunity to relax in a comfortable, cosy home-from-home environment. Accommodating a maximum of 4 guests – plus 1 infant in a travel cot (not supplied) in two bedrooms. One downstairs double bedroom and upstairs one twin/Superking bedroom. A walk-in shower room on the ground floor and a traditional bathroom upstairs. Darwin Cottage is a pet-free property.

Wifi is available in the cottage. Parking is available on the driveway for 2 cars with additional parking available on the road nearby. Hot water is on demand and the cottage is centrally heated throughout.

Step through the French doors into the open plan kitchen/dining and living area perfectly arranged for a sociable stay.

Living Space

Featuring two comfortable sofas, a TV with SKY channels (HD/UHD when available), DVD player and Amazon Firestick for accessing your Netflix and Prime accounts whilst you’re away.

Kitchen

The kitchen is fully equipped with a modern electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge/freezer.

Double Bedroom

Located on the ground floor, the downstairs double bedroom has a comfortable medium/firm mattress, an oversized duvet and Egyptian Cotton bed linen for your comfort. Bedside drawers and a full size wardrobe give plenty of storage even for longer stays!

Shower Room

Also on the ground floor, there is a large walk-in shower room, washbasin with mirror light and shaver point and W.C.

Twin Loft-Style Bedroom

The beds have medium/firm mattresses with toppers for enhanced comfort, and are made up with crisp, fresh Egyptian cotton bed-linen. This room can be made into a double – please select this option when you book. Bedside tables, dressing chest, wardrobe and rocking chair. Just bring your own books!

Upstairs Bathroom

Across the hallway from the twin-bedroom is the bathroom. Bath with traditional style taps and hairwash handset, washbasin, mirror, light shaver point, and W.C

Courtyard

Enjoy breakfast in the sunny courtyard. Relax with a book and a cup of tea (or glass of wine at the end of the day). A veritable suntrap on Summer afternoons. BBQ also available.

For cyclists, we have a lockable shed which can comfortably store 2 bikes. There is also undercover space in the courtyard too. Bikes are stored at the owner’s risk.
