The perfect base for exploring the Sussex countryside.
Tanya and Paul would like to offer you a very warm welcome. Darwin Cottage is the perfect place to get away from it all. An idyllic rural location in the quiet Sussex village of Jevington, yet just a short drive away from many nearby attractions including the sea! There are an abundance of stunning walks on the South Downs Way literally from the doorstep – many of which can incorporate a country pub lunch, a nice café or afternoon tea.
Darwin Cottage has been equipped to the highest standard to give guests a comfortable stay. Rated 4-star by Visit England for 2021-2022, the cottage is located in the historic smuggling village of Jevington put on the map due to being the birthplace of Banoffi Pie!
Enjoy the flexibility and comfort of our self-catering cottage just a short drive away to local amenities, places of interest and local attractions. Walkers will want to explore the South Downs Way, the Seven Sisters, Friston Forest and the Cuckmere Valley to name a few.

Children are well-catered for in the area too with plenty of things to occupy them such as Drusilla’s Zoo Park, Knockhatch and Eastbourne Steam Miniature Railway to name a few.
